Most students will enroll into the Texas Massage 500 program, which is designed to meet the requirements put forth by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to become a massage therapist in Texas.
This program is for international students or students that have completed the Texas Massage 500 program. It is designed to meet specific educational objectives beyond the state requirements.
Healing Hands is working on offering an Associate's Degree in partnership with Collin County Community College. All students will be required to have completed the Texas Massage 500 program prior to enrollment in this program.
While each state has different requirements to become a licensed massage therapist, Healing Hands Massage Institute falls under the laws set by the State of Texas. Learn the standard sanitation precautions in healthcare settings. First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation will be taught by instructors certified by the American Red Cross.
Hydrotherapy is the study of external use of water for therapeutic, palliative, recreational, or hygienic purposes.
Gain hands-on experience under the supervision and direction of a licensed massage therapy instructor (LMI). Learn to interview clients, perform massage therapy, and review client evaluations.
Explore kinesiology, the study of muscle and bone working together to create precise movement.
